On the twenty-fourth day of the same month, the Israelites gathered together, fasting and wearing sackcloth and having dust on their heads. (Nehemiah 9:1)Today is day four of our fast, the day we pray for strong global partnerships (that the Lord will give us a global strategy to reach the 100 nations that we have yet to penetrate).
There are so many without the Lord in this world. and we want to reach them.
Jesus gives us a mandate to preach the gospel to all creation, to teach others, to show him to the world. we want to do that.
But it is hard when you try to do it yourself.
One of the things I like about the Foursquare Church is that it is a unity movement. We want to
be part of the whole, rather than considering ourselves as the whole.
We want to work with others and bring that gospel to the world.
Today I feel aware, ready for something, the kind of feeling where you are waiting for something good to happen.
Father God, I ask you to help us to bring your gospel to the world. help us to be able to show that grace, to model that love in our own lives to the world. Amen
