So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer. (Ezra 8:23)It is the end of the third day. It’s been a hard day in many ways. I am cramping for one thing, as I usually do when I fast, and I have been inordinately tired.
But I feel a tremendous peace about this whole thing. I believe the Lord will hear me and will hear us as we fast before him.
Tomorrow we pray for strong global partnerships (that the Lord will give us a global strategy to reach the 100 nations that we have yet to penetrate).
We cannot do as good a job unless we involve ourselves in strategy to a point. Yes, the battle is the Lord’s, but Jesus also said to count the cost, to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
So we look at the best ways to do these thing the Foursquare Church needs to do and we allow God to guide us in it.
It is strange that I feel as I do on this fast. I cooked Ella steak tonight and it didn’t really bother me. A friend that is coming over for the weekend while she is in Lincoln was worried about it also, but I think I told her it was alright for her to eat publicly in my house. Especially since I am the one who cooks.
Tomorrow will be a better day.
I thank you Lord for the day and for the closeness I begin to feel to you. Again we pray for a fresh outpouring of your Spirit on the church throughout the world. I pray also for a fresh outpouring on me. Bless me, Lord. Amen.

Be nice. If you are not nice, I will delete your post and cast it into outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of posts.
